District 5 Retiree Shoot

The District 5 Retiree Shoot is now open for scheduling. You will find two documents attached that will need to be printed and filled out prior to your arrival for your scheduled time. The Retiree Shoot is scheduled for Thursday, May 30^th2024. We had to change it from the initial date to a conflict with other training we had going on.

All you need to do is click this following link and fill in the information and hit submit. All submissions will be time stamped and taken in the order they are received. You may use the same email to submit another retiree, just use their information. The blue link labeled D5 Retiree Shoot Assignments for May 30, 2024 will be updated weekly. You will need to find your name on the document and attend the retiree shoot at that time. While the time choices are at the hour mark, like last year we will also assign shooters to the half hour mark also. Additionally and as stated below please print and fill out the forms attached and bring them with you. It is just one attachment with three forms

Please Review the Rest of the email to ensure you bring all that is needed and comply with our current rules and protocol.

You will need to bring the following to the shoot.

The 3 attached forms filled out,
Your own ears,
eyes,
ammunition,
weapons,
holsters,
FOID if in state or DL if out of State,
ISP Retiree ID
Cash for ISP Shirts and other items that may be available
There will be a sign in table just off of the parking lot near the range building. You will turn in your waiver and sign the registration sheet here. At the conclusion of the shoot you will come back to the registration desk and turn in your score sheet and be issued your sticker.

Troop 8 Retiree Shoot

The 2024 Retiree Qualification Shoots will be conducted at the Troop 8, Litchfield Range (previous District 18 Headquarters: 102 West IL 16, Litchfield, IL 62056). The qualification shoot dates and RSVP deadlines are:

All qualification shoots will begin at 9:00 am.

As a reminder, all shooters will need their own pistol, a holster, a minimum of 30 rounds of ammunition, and their own eye and hearing protection. Upon arrival, shooters must present a valid FOID card (if an Illinois resident), driver’s license, and retiree ID card. Shooters will be required to shoot from the 2, 4, 7, 10, and 15 yard lines.

Troop 7 Retiree Shoot

District 10/Troop 7 Retirees,

The 2024 Retiree Shoots are scheduled for:

Spring Shoot is April 26^th

Fall Shoot is September 6^th

If you want to shoot at the Spring Shoot on April 26 please respond directly to Tpr Dorsey via email by March 31^st. His email address is: luke.dorsey@illinois.gov

The first shoot will start at 9 a.m. and you will be placed into groups. You will be advised your shoot time after he receives your shoot request.

If you want to shoot in the fall you do not have to do anything at this time. I will send a reminder in August.

Please visit the Todd Hanneken Meeting Center prior to your shoot time to complete the appropriate documents.

The $10 fee is no longer a requirement.

Please bring the following items:

ISP Retiree ID

FOID card/CCL

Driver’s License

30 rounds

Holster

Retiree Shoot Waiver

Retiree Score Sheet
